Spicy and delicious burgers

Spicy lamb burgers

Ingredients:

1. 1 Onion chopped
2. 1 inch ginger, peeled and chopped
3. 2 garlic cloves, chopped
4. 1 bunch of coriander
5. 2tsp jeera powder
6. 2tsp dhaniya(coriander seed)powder
7. 1tsp cinnamon powder
8. 100gms dried apricots, chopped
9. 700gms minced lamb
10. Oil for brushing

Method:

Put the onion, ginger, garlic and coriander in a mixie and blend. Add the spices, apricots, minced lamb, and seasoning and pulse till just mixed. shape into six burger patties, brush lightly with oil and grill on a hot pan for 5mins on each side. To serve, place burger patties on split and toasted burger buns with mayonnaise and sliced veggies of your choice.

Crispy chicken burgers

Ingredients:

1. 4 boneless chicken breast
2. 3 slices of toast
3. 1 egg
4. 1tsp of mustard
5. Salt and pepper to taste

Method:

Beat the boneless chicken breasts with a rolling pin till flat and thin. Crumble the 3 slices of toast to make a fresh breadcrumbs. Beat the egg along with the mustard and seasoning. Dip the chicken breast into the egg mix and press into the breadcrumbs till well covered. Grill in a high oven till golden brown or shallow fry. Serve with freas salad, mayonnaise and burger buns.
